We are delighted to welcome Clearpath Weed Control on board as our Official Maintenance Partners! They will be carrying out work within the ground and on the pitch ahead of the new season!
Whitburn Juniors are delighted to announce the signing of central defender Blair Woodburn from Bo’ness Athletic.
Blair becomes manager Scott Woodhouse’s first signing since taking charge at Central Park.
Manager Scott Woodhouse commented:
“Blair has always been someone I’ve wanted the opportunity to work with! He’s a player I know well and someone whose qualities I have always admired!
He’s dominant in both boxes, a real leader on and off the pitch and the type of character every successful dressing room needs. He sets standards, drives those around him and brings a real presence to the group.
As soon as I got the opportunity to bring Blair to Whitburn, it was one I was keen to make happen. I’m delighted to get him on board and I’m looking forward to working with him again.”
Whitburn Junior Football Club are pleased to welcome Jack Henderson back to the club.
The versatile central midfielder returns to Central Park following spells with Rosyth and West Calder United. Jack brings quality, experience and flexibility to the squad.
Having previously enjoyed success with Whitburn, Jack returns to a club he knows well and becomes the latest addition to Scott Woodhouse’s squad ahead of the new season.
Manager Scott Woodhouse commented:
“Getting Jack back to Whitburn was something I was keen to make happen. When I spoke to him about next season, he made it clear that he wanted to come with me. That meant a lot and showed his belief in what we’re trying to build here.
He’s a player I know well and someone I trust. We were both involved during a successful period at the club and I’ve also worked with him recently at West Calder, where he played a key role in a league-winning side last season, so I know exactly what he brings.
Jack is someone who understands exactly how I want the game played, the standards I expect and the demands that come with representing Whitburn Juniors. Having players who already understand those expectations is invaluable.
He’ll bring quality, versatility and experience to the squad, and I’m looking forward to working with him again and seeing him back in a Whitburn shirt.”
All entries have now been taken. Thanks, everyone who entered and good luck.
We will be running a sweep competition for the World Cup which

which team each participant gets.
If you would like to take part, please contact us as soon as
possible to ensure you don’t miss out. You can reach us by
following the link to the entry form below, by email, Facebook

The money raised will be split 50/50 between the Football Club

will go to the Football Club, £200 will go to the person with the
team that wins the World Cup and the person that
has the runners-up will get £40.
If necessary, ties will be decided by head to head results, most wins overall, then overall goal difference in that order.
Entry money must be paid before the date of the draw.
The winner of the May draw is
The 100 Club is an easy way of helping the club. You only need to provide details once, then you can forget about it.
All we are asking is that you commit to a regular payment of at least £5 per month. That's just £1.25 per week, less than the cost of a pie at the game or a drink in the club.
We prefer payment to be made by standing order which allows the committee to concentrate on other tasks, but we will accept cash payment if you prefer.
All 100 Club members are entered into a monthly draw for a cash prize, the amount being dependant on the monthly income - as membership increases, so does the prize money.

Following Whitburn's 12th place finish last season, we will again play in the East of Scotland Premier Division, which is the top league in the East of Scotland Football Association, and tier 6 of the Scottish Football pyramid system.
There have been a lot of changes since last season, with three teams moving up to the Lowland League, Bo'ness Athletic folding, two teams being relegated and six teams moving up from the First Division.
