We will be running a sweep competition for the World Cup which
Starts on Thursday 11th June.
Entry is £10 per team and you can have as many entries as
you want.
You can pay by cash, or if you prefer, by bank transfer.
Each entry will be allocated one of the 48 teams taking part.
Once all the teams have been sold, a draw will be made to decide
which team each participant gets.
If you would like to take part, please contact us as soon as
possible to ensure you don’t miss out. You can reach us by
following the link to the entry form below, by email, Facebook
or in person.
Â
The money raised will be split 50/50 between the Football Club
and the winners. There are 48 teams in the tournament, so £240
will go to the Football Club, £200 will go to the person with the
team that wins the World Cup and the person that
has the runners-up will get £40.
If all the teams aren’t sold, prize money will be reduced accordingly,
and the prizes will go to the owners of the two teams that progress furthest.
If necessary, ties will be decided by head to head results, most wins overall, then overall goal difference in that order.
Entry money must be paid before the date of the draw.

The 100 Club is an easy way of helping the club. You only need to provide details once, then you can forget about it.Â
All we are asking is that you commit to a regular payment of at least £5 per month. That's just £1.25 per week, less than the cost of a pie at the game or a drink in the club.
We prefer payment to be made by standing order which allows the committee to concentrate on other tasks, but we will accept cash payment if you prefer.
All 100 Club members are entered into a monthly draw for a cash prize, the amount being dependant on the monthly income - as membership increases, so does the prize money.
If you would like to join, please get in touch. Link to the contact form is below.Â

Following Whitburn's 12th place finish last season, we will again play in the East of Scotland Premier Division, which is the top league in the East of Scotland Football Association, and tier 6 of the Scottish Football pyramid system.
There have been a lot of changes since last season, with three teams moving up to the Lowland League, Bo'ness Athletic folding, two teams being relegated and six teams moving up from the First Division.
