We are delighted to announce that Aiden McAvoy has extended his contract and committed his future to the club š¤
Aiden on his new contract.
āIām delighted to have signed a new contract. Itās been a tough season for the club but feel we will be much closer to where we want to be next season.
For me I personally feel this is the right place for me to keep developing and help the club push for promotion. The club and the gaffer has been very understanding of my work situation and built up a good relationship and have made my decision a lot easier for next season.ā
The gaffer thoughts š¬
āDelighted that Macca has committed his future to the club. He is a big part of our plans and a player I have really enjoyed working with. A good bit of business by the club as we continue to build for next season.ā
The club are delighted to announce that Lewis Main has committed his future by signing a deal that will keep him at the club until 2028.
Lewis on signing for the club:
āIām delighted to have signed with the club and grateful to the manager for the trust and opportunity he has given me. Iām here to compete and make an impact, and I will give my best every time I train and play. From this point forward, I hope I can help the team push on and bring success to the club. Thanks for the support.
ā Lewisā
The managerās thoughts:
āLewis originally signed on a short-term deal and has impressed both on and off the pitch. He is very coachable and has a great attitude. Just starting his journey into senior football, Lewis is an exciting young player with a big future at the club. In my opinion, he will go on to have a great career in the game. Weāre delighted to have him tied down and look forward to seeing him continue to develop here.ā

The 100 Club is an easy way of helping the club. You only need to provide details once, then you can forget about it.Ā
All we are asking is that you commit to a regular payment of at least £5 per month. That's just £1.25 per week, less than the cost of a pie at the game or a drink in the club.
We prefer payment to be made by standing order which allows the committee to concentrate on other tasks, but we will accept cash payment if you prefer.
All 100 Club members are entered into a monthly draw for a cash prize, the amount being dependant on the monthly income - as membership increases, so does the prize money.
If you would like to join, please get in touch. Link to the contact form is below.Ā

Following Whitburn's 7th place finish last season, we will again play in the East of Scotland Premier Division, which is the top league in the East of Scotland Football Association, and tier 6 of the Scottish Football pyramid system.
This league promises to be even more competitive than it was last season.
Whitburn Junior Football Club have launched a Gofundme page to raise funds to make the necessary park improvements to obtain our SFA license and to apply for that license.
Having gained promotion from the lower leagues in each of the past three years, we aim to raise £10,000 using crowdfunding. Without this licence we will not be able to gain further promotions or participate in the Scottish Cup.
The team is part of Whitburn Community Sports Club with over 250 footballers covering all ages from under 6s to seniors. The club also hosts charity football matches and local Civic Week sporting events, as well as other non -sporting events.
The club is ambitious, and plans to upgrade the facilities at our home ground, Central Park, to be able to compete at a higher level in the near future. The Community Club and others would also benefit from improvements.
Ā£10,000 will cover the cost of the licence application and the initial ground improvements needed to meet the licence criteria. Anything raised above this will go towards further ground improvements.
If you decide to donate, thanks for joining our team and helping us on our journey.
Please note:
When you make a donation via Gofundme, a ātipā is automatically added to the amount you donate. This tip goes to the Gofundme platform. If you do not wish to pay this tip, use the slider to change the amount to 0, or whatever value you wish.
Gofundme take a small percentage from every donation to cover administration costs. This means the Football Club will not receive the full amount you donate. If you want to make sure the full amount goes to the club, you can make a direct bank transfer to the club instead of using Gofundme. If you choose to do this, please state "crowdfunder" as the reference.
